Today’s “Word of the Day” is “bare-bones“ and it is an adjective meaning “referring to something that only includes/comprises the basic, necessary or essential elements/things and nothing else; without frills, minimal, functional, austere, unembellished; shortened, curtailed, reduced, lessened”.
Example Sentence: On 1 January, the Brexit transition period will come to an end and Britain will either trade on a no-deal basis with the European Union or, at best, with a bare-bones free trade agreement.
