  1. new order (noun) – a new form of government.
  2. diverse (adjective) – varying, differing, different, varied.
  3. base (noun) – a group of people considered as supporting an organization/party.
  4. pick (noun) – choice, selection, preference, option.
  5. elevate (verb) – promote, prefer, give promotion to, upgrade, improve the position of, move up the ladder.
  6. debutant (noun) – a person who is making a debut (first public appearance) in a particular capacity or role, particularly in politics/sport.
  7. Legislative Assembly (noun) – Assembly/Vidhan Sabha; Legislative Assembly is the lower house in the states and union territories of India, much like the Lok Sabha of the Parliament. Members of the Legislative Assembly (legislative body) are directly elected by the people through assembly elections.   34. centre around (phrasal verb) – to have something as the most important subject of discussion/interest; concentrate on, focus on, revolve about, revolve around.
  35. label (verb) – categorize, describe, classify, identify, typify, call, name.
  36. guarantee (noun) – assurance, promise, pledge, vow.
  37. Special Investigation Team (SIT) (noun) – a specialized team of officers in Indian law enforcement consisting of personnel trained to investigate serious crimes.
  38. regime (noun) – government.
  39. establishment (noun) – formation, setting up, creation, institution
  40. subsidy (noun) – also called as subvention; a financial contribution granted to help an industry or business, mostly given by a government, in order to keep the price of service/goods at a low level.
  41. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) (noun) – a flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases in liquid form used as fuel in heating appliances, cooking equipment, and vehicles.
  42. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) (noun) – a social welfare scheme envisages of smoke free Rural India and aims to benefit five crore families especially the women living below poverty line (BPL) by providing concessional LPG connections to entire nation. The scheme will increase the usage of LPG and would help in reducing health disorders, air pollution and deforestation.
  43. savings bond (noun) –  a type of bond issued by a government and sold to the general public; A bond where the limits for investment are set low so that people can invest easily
  44. fiscal (adjective) – financial.
  45. environment (noun) – situation, background, scenario, context, atmosphere.
  46. conflict (noun) – dispute, argument, tussle, clash, disagreement, quarrel, contention, hostility, friction.
  47. equation (noun) – the situation (or) the problem, the quandary, the predicament.

  50. likely (adverb) – probably, in all probability, presumably, doubtlessly.
  51. in control (phrase) – having the authority to direct or control (something).
  52. endow (verb) – present, grant, give, vest in.
  53. rely on (phrasal verb) – depend on, trust, believe in, turn to, lean on, bank on, count on.
  54. grapple with (phrasal verb) – struggle, deal with, cope with, face, confront, withstand, stand firm against, stand up to.
