Today’s “Phrase of the Day” is one cannot be the judge of one’s cause and its meaning is “Nemo judex in causa sua”. It is a Latin phrase that means, literally, “no-one should be a judge in their own cause.” It is a principle of natural justice that no person can judge a case in which he/she has an interest.
