  1. recalibration (noun) – making small changes in relationship of two groups or countries.
  2. perceptible (adjective) – noticeable; visible; palpable.
  3. rupture (noun) – rift, separation, division/break-up.
  4. swear (someone) in (phrasal verb) – inaugurate, introduce, admit into office.
  5. blockade (noun) – disruption of  the (economic) activities (example-supply of essential goods and others) of an area.
  6. strain (noun) – pressure, stressdemand/burden.
