  34. benching (noun) – it refers to the section of employees who are currently not working on any projects but remain on the job and getting the salary
  35. recruit (noun) – new member, new entrant, new employee.
  36. core sector/industries (noun) – the eight industries comprising electricity, steel, refinery products, crude oil, coal, cement, natural gas and fertilizers are classified as core sector industries.
  37. so far (phrase) – until now, up to the present, up to this point.
  38. merchandise (noun) – goods, commodities, produce, product.
  39. trade deficit (noun) – a trade deficit (a deficit in the balance of trade) occurs when the value of a country’s imports exceeds that of its exports. It is also called a trade gap.
  40. revive (verb) – restore, revitalize, renew, bring back.
  41. cite (verb) – refer to, mention, bring up, adduce, specify, point to.
  42. World Trade Organization (WTO) (noun) – an intergovernmental organization that is concerned with the regulation of international trade between nations.
  43. upgrade (noun) – improvement, betterment, enhancement.
  44. fructify (verb) – become fruitful, become productive, become effective, bear fruit, yield (positive) results, be successful, pay off.
  45. far from (phrase) – not, not at all; nowhere near, a long way from.
  46. business as usual (phrase) – a normal state of affairs, the daily round, routine, a normal pattern.
  47. suffice (verb) – be enough, be sufficient, be adequate.
  48. fire (verb) – get going.
