- The Resistance Front (TRF) (noun) – a terrorist outfit emerged on the militancy landscape of Jammu and Kashmir after the Centre abrogated the provisions of Article 370 in 2019. It is backed by the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group.

- claim responsibility (collocation) – to say publicly that you are responsible for something.
- Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) (noun) – It is a designation used by the U.S. Secretary of State for non-U.S.-based organizations that engage in, or have the capability and intent to engage in, terrorist activities threatening the security of U.S. nationals or the national security (including defense, foreign relations, or economic interests) of the United States.
- Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) (noun) – It is an individual or entity that the U.S. Department of the Treasury (through its Office of Foreign Assets Control – OFAC) has designated under the authority of Executive Order 13224 (issued after the September 11, 2001 attacks) as being involved in terrorist activity or support for terrorism.
